All of these programs are highly recommended by Beck PC. I use most of them on a daily basis in my job. I am asked all the time about programs to do the following. Give these a try. They are absolutely free to use! These are MUST HAVE applications for any computer! The links will open a new browser window for you to download the application.

Antivirus Software	AVG Antivirus - A good free antivirus program for Windows XP and up. Runs a little slow on Windows 7. Microsoft Security Essentials - A free antivirus program from Microsoft. Works very well with Windows 7.
Malware Removal	Malwarebytes - A excellent program for removing trojans from your PC. Beck-PC is a reseller, so if you need a license for a full version, don't hesitate to call. Combo Fix - A must have program to clean up hidden trojans and services from your PC. This program will remote rootkits and should only be used if your system is seriously infected. Save to the PC first and then RUN it. It may take up to 30 minutes or more to complete.
General Cleanup	CCleaner - A good program to clean up cooking and temporary internet files.
Windows Add-ons	Codec Pack - Contains all the codecs needed to view most videos online ObjectDock - A handy little tool bar for the top or bottom of your screen. Click here to download the weather fix. Just extract and overwrite the original file in the install directory.
Useful Applications or websites.	Format Factory - Convert one video/audio format to another, including DVD to iPOD Open Office - A free word processor, spreadsheet and presentation software package similar to Office. Paint.net - An excellent paint program. Google Chrome - The fastest web browser I've ever used. Highly recommended. NOTE: Not compatible with most financial institutions. Apple Safari - Apple's web browser available for Windows PC's. Firefox - An alternative to Internet Explorer. Compatible with most websites, including banks. Eusing Registry Cleaner - A free registry cleaner program. It likes to be registered, but you can click the SKIP button to bypass that. GIMP - A high end photo processing application that is 100% free. You can't beat it. Office 2007 Compatibility Pack - Recommended if you have Office 2000 up to 2003 and need to view Office 2007 documents (DOCX, XLSX...) Calibre - E-book management application. Capable of converting from one format to another to work on your iPhone, iPad, PDA, Windows Mobile Device or PC. A true MUST HAVE for any e-book readers. PDF Creator - An excellent Add-On for your PC to print to a PDF formatted file. Works with any application. (be sure to uncheck the toolbar during the installation) Save As PDF & XPS format - An add-on for Office 2007 to give the ability to save as PDF and XPS formatted files. Keepvid.com - Fantastic website for saving YouTube Videos or extracting just the MP3 file.
